There are many recipes prepared with this vegetable.and many variations in the preparation too. In this video I have shown how to make Dondakaya /Tindora/Ivygourd fry with added taste of coconut, sesame seeds and a couple of other spices ground to a coarse powder. Ingredients: Dondakayalu / Tindora Ivy Gourd - 300 gms For grinding the Masala powder : Dry Coconut - 2 tbsp heaped Roasted Sesame seeds - 2 spoons ( dry roast white sesame seeds in a hot pan ) Garlic pods - 7-8 Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp ( or acc to pref) grind the above to a coarse powder.
