Lincoln was careful with powertrain details, but what we know is that the 2019 Aviator will get a twin-turbo engine, but what we don’t know is if this will be the 3.5-liter Explorer engine or something new. Lincoln also mentioned this engine will be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain as well, though it declined to get into any specifics on the range. Lincoln did put itself out there in saying the 2019 Aviator is “mightier than many supercars on the road today.”
