Cantate Domino Choir sing Kirby Shaw's arrangement of ''Blessed Assurance'' for Recessional on the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time 2017.

This is the choir's first shot at this jazzy interpretation of the Frances Crosby's traditional hymn.
Nick chose the song for this week but in our usual traditional style. Fortunately we had Angie who happened to be preparing this jazzy piece for another occasion. So why not have her unleash it for during our mass
It took organist Angie Yew many weeks to work out the walking bass line. Some minor mistakes but i'm sure with time, it will be sorted out.
Kudos to our sopranos for bravely taking up the challenging segments with gusto. We don't have the best voices but you girls gave all you had! We are so proud of you.


Cantate Domino sings for the 6pm Holy Mass at the Singaporean Catholic parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.

Practice starts at 4pm in the music room. Please join us to give glory to God every Sunday evening.
